It’s easy to fall in love with New York. I still remember the first time I visited with my high school choir class. I had mostly grown up in the Midwest and was totally awestruck by the buildings towering above, the great people watching, and the street vendors.
No matter who you are, there is something about the Big Apple that makes it totally unforgettable and Corrie and Eric captured that special something in their quintessential NYC wedding. Their day, which took place at the Boat House in Central Park, was complete with killer views, killer shoes and enough cuteness to keep you smiling for days (check out the flower girl)!
Corrie, the co-creator of CorrieGabs, incorporated her Chinese American heritage into their special day by featuring a Lion Dance by performers from Wing Hong Yip Dragon Style Kung Fu. The Lion Dance is usually performed during Chinese New Year and other cultural events, but is also used to mark other auspicious occasions. The performers try to reflect the movements of a lion, while dancing to music played by drums, gongs, and cymbals. Thanks to Ryan Brenizer Photography for the beautiful shots! You can follow Corrie and check out more of her amazing style here and here.
